It’s time to hone your skills - in art!

We’re holding our first-ever Cyber Shadow community art contest! The prompt of the contest is "Cyber Shadow",  so anything concerning the game is on target! We want to see all your creativity come to life!

• What death-defying scenarios would our ninja hero get himself into?

• What terrifying mechanical monstrosities would he face?

• What have Master and L-Gion been up to?

• What was life like at Master’s dojo?

Feel free to even design your own characters and synthetic monsters to face off against Shadow! The sky is the limit!  Your art entry can be a drawing, painting, bead art, cosplay, culinary art, a video, or even stop motion animation! The 1st Place Grand Prize Winner will receive a hand-crafted collection of Cyber Shadow and Shovel Knight merch!

Submissions will be accepted until August 12th 2021 at 11:59 PM PST! Good luck!

How to Enter

Once you have finished your masterpiece, send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

• Your full name

• Birthdate

• Your work of art (feel free to give it title!)

If you are 16 & under, please fill out this COPPA Parental Consent Form along with your entry!
Note: If you do not fill out this form, your entry will be considered invalid.

Submission Requirements

• You must submit an entry to be considered! You can submit as many entries as you’d like!

• Art must be related to Cyber Shadow

• You can use any medium (as long as you can submit a photo of it digitally)! Your art entry can be a drawing, painting, bead art, cosplay, culinary art, video, or even stop motion animation - the sky is the limit!

• Must be family-friendly content!

• Must be an original work of art

• All entrants must be a legal resident of one of the regions listed in our "Participating Regions" section. For more information, please peruse the "Participating Regions" section at the bottom of this page.

Judging Criteria

1. Does the submitted artwork fit the theme?

2. Is it creative?

3. Is it original and interesting?

4. Is there overall quality of the medium being used?

5. Does the work stand on its own?

6. The composition and design of the work are also judging criteria.

The 5 winners will be selected by Cyber Shadows creator, Aarne Hunziker, and the Yacht Club Games crew! Winning entries will be shared on social media pages (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) as well as our website!
