Hollowers, ready your brushes!

It’s hard to believe Mina the Hollower has been out in your hands for nearly 5 months already! We’re still reeling over the resoundingly positive reception Mina has received, from critics and fans alike, and we are forever grateful for how warmly you’ve embraced our favorite, fearless whip-wielding rodent.

As a way of celebrating your enthusiasm, the Mina the Hollower Art Contest returns!

Now that you’ve had time to explore Tenebrous Isle and take Mina into your hearts, we know all you artists out there are excited to show us your favorite characters, creatures, and moments from the game. Set what’s on your mind to canvas, clay, cosplay, or any medium you choose. We want to see how creative you all are!

The theme is Mina the Hollower—let your imagination hollow its own path!

Contest Prompt

The prompt of the contest is "Mina the Hollower",  so anything concerning the game is on target!

If you are unfamiliar with Mina the Hollower, you can learn all about Mina, her quest, and the spooky world she lives in right here:

• Game Sales Page (Here you can find out more about Mina the Hollower or purchase the game if you haven't played it yet!)

• Press Kit (This contains a bunch of illustrations, sprites, and more!)

To help get the creative juices flowing, here are some prompts:

• What death defying scenarios would Mina get herself into while out on an adventure? What about in her down time, while kicking back in her Underlab?

• What might life have been like for Mina while she was a trainee back at the Hollowers Guild?

• What would Mina look like facing off against a gaggle of Goopers or a swarm of Brittle Beaks?

• Thorne is a mysterious presence and a shadow over Mina's attempts to keep the spark generators running. How would you visually depict their dynamic?

• When he’s not conducting civic affairs on Tenebrous Isle, how does Baron Lionel spend his time off? (Even Island overseers get PTO!)

Have ideas for your own original character that you think would fit right in on Tenebrous Isle or adventuring alongside Mina? Feel free to work them into your submission too!

The sky is the limit and we want to see it!

If you want examples, feel free to check out some cool art from our previous contests:

• Cyber Shadow

• Specter of Torment

• Shovel Knight

Your art entry can be a drawing, painting, bead art, cosplay, culinary art, a video, a song, spoken poetry, or even stop motion animation! Whatever your artistic little mind can come up with. We are ready for it!

Submissions will be accepted until December 1st, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST! Good luck!
