Want to confirm what version of Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is on your system? Go to the Title Screen, select Options, and check out the bottom part of the screen.

Steam Branches & Passwords

We have several Steam branches available to the public on the Steam version of the game! See the How to Access Steam Branches section below for details on how to switch to a Steam Branch.

Warning! Switching between branches may cause Save Data corruption! If you plan on switching between Steam branches, please make sure to back up your save data!

Early Preview Branch

The early Preview branch is a branch we made to test out new content as we develop it! This branch is solely for those who are willing to try new content while we iron out and test new features.

32 bit-release

Due to technical limitations, newer versions of the game will no longer run on 32bit Windows machines. We will be archiving the last 32bit compatible build (Version 1.1.4) on this Steam Branch.

1.0 Release

The original 1.0 release of Pocket Dungeon! If you feel like experiencing the game as it first came out, you can use this steam branch to switch to this version of the game.

How to Access Steam Branches

To access a steam branch, you must own Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon and have it in your Steam library!

Once you have purchased the game, follow these steps to switch to another branch of the game:

1) Right-click on Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon from within your Library and select Properties

2) Select the “Betas” tab.

3) Enter the password branch the branch you want to switch to, and select “Check Code”
A blue button that says “Opt into: early-preview - Puzzler’s Pack DLC” should appear. Click this button

4) The game should update with the build on that branch and should now say have the branch in name in brackets after the Pocket Dungeon title in your steam library

For example if you opted into the Early Preview branch, the game will be listed as "Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon [early-preview]

Returning to the Main Game Branch

You can switch back to the normal game at any time! If you wish to switch back to Pocket Dungeon without the early-preview content , follow these instructions:

1) Navigate back to the “Betas” tab by right clicking Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon in your steam library and going to:

Properties > Betas

2) In the dropdown menu you will see two Options:

• None

• Early-preview

3) Select “none” to go back to the base game
